I am working with a client who has just purchased HR Service Delivery Professional.
They want to have workflows for new hire and offboarding scenarios.
For new hire and offboarding workflows, other departments need to be engaged like IT.
Is an order guide the best way to handle new hire and offboarding workflows in which work is required for both HR and IT?

Hi @Justin21
you can use both Order Guides and Enterprise Onboarding & Transitions (EOT) if you are licensed for them.
The benefit of using EOT is you have the ability to build the global, organizational-wide onboarding (offboarding, job moves & transfers, etc.) processes in one place. It will allow you to identify gaps and room for improvements that you are less likely to see working in the silos between departments. With EOT, you can have the Order Guides for the IT equipment and access that is part of your ITSM solution, as well as having the HR steps (e.g., I-9 verification), manager steps (e.g., new hire orientation), new hire steps (e.g., e-sign documents, enroll in benefits), and tasks for other departments (e.g., legal, facilities, security). HRSD EOT allows you to create and assign tasks to any person or group within your company. It also gives the manager and new hire access to the mobile onboarding app and targeted communications on ESC, if used. HRSD provides a better user experience, more security and governance being in separate scoped applications.
Using Order Guides alone will provide the process automation for IT, but not be the complete onboarding experience across the organization.
