business Rule for templates

Hiii,

i am created HR Task and  few HR-templates add to that task.

[ex:- Temp-1, Temp-2,Temp-3......]

selecting the template in HR Task form the name of the Template should be populates in the short description & description.

i need to write  a Business rule only.

Hi Siva!

You can do this if you edit each template and set "short description" with the name of the template.

So, when the template is applied, the short description of the hr task will contain the right value.

Easy to implement and no need to create business rules.

@Filipe Cruz is correct.  If you create the template on the correct table, you can select within the template what the Short Description and Description values should be.  Then when selected, they'll auto-populate accordingly.

Rule templates are regular decision tables that are as structural prototypes for many other rule tables with the same structure but different rules. A simple rule template usually does not have rules at all but only specifies the table structure and implementation details for conditions and action
