How to make Knowledge article attachment viewable in employee service portal?

I am new to service-now HR platform and was trying to attach a knowledge article with an attachment to a knowledge base but the attachment is not found with the article on the service portal. Please advice.

Hi ,
You can add the 'Knowledge Attachment' widget on to the page to view the attachments.
Open the page in Designer and add this widget at the required layout.

Once you add the option, you should have two attachment options to select 1) display attachment and 2) attachment link. If you want users to read information before opening the attachment, attachment link would be the option.

Hello, I am using New York. How do I open an attachment in the Knowledge Article rather than have to download locally?
