How to search content in attachment using external content ai search

I am trying to explore external content in AI search.

Is it possible to search content inside the attachment which is stored externally and then show it on portal search result.

However I do not find exact configuration needs to perform to search content withing attachment from external source.

Do we have any API available which will search within attachment.
