HRSD EDM - Security Policies

Hey SN community!

If I configure security policies for EDM and do not associate to a specific document type, does that mean it will apply to ALL document types?

If i configure a security policy, and specify a document type it will ONLY apply to that document type?

A security policy will only work if it is associated to a document type or types.

Hi @DClayton ,

While configuring Security policies the very first step is to associate a document type. 

Define Policies for a document type.

HR Administration > Employee Documents > Document Types>New

So YES !! If you configure a security policy, and specify a document type it will ONLY apply to that document type itself.
