HRSD "Heart" favorite icon displaying in Employee Service Center Record Producers and Knarticles

As part of our pre-implementation testing of Tokyo we noticed that record producers and knowledge articles on our employee service center now have a little heart icon that you can click to mark the RP or Knarticle as a favorite.  We don't see that anywhere else on the ESC, and I need to understand a few things about this functionality.

1. Can this functionality be disabled for all record producers?

2. How does this functionality actually work?  When a user clicks the little heart, other than the heart being selected, what else happens? Does the user have a list of favorited RP's and other stuff they can view somewhere?  How do they see their favorited content?  Is that displayed in a specific widget?

Thanks so much,

Chuck

Hi @Chuck Collins ,

Configure the favorites option to help employees personalize the content and easily access the content they frequently use.

For Whatever (Record Producer/Knowledge Articles) you have hit the favorite "heart", all would display on the top "Heart" header icon :

Now, if you do not want to have this functionality at all then ,this functionality is controlled by "enable favourites" from portal record for all portals. Mark it true/false accordingly. In your other in stance it is probably marked false.

However, if you want to be specific about certain content, like just Record Producers or just Knowledge articles, then follow this :

Navigate to All > Favorites > Favorite content configuration

and if you want to create NEW:

  1. Click New or update an existing configuration.
  2. On the form, fill in the fields.
    Favorite Content Configuration form
    Field Description
Content Type The type of content on which the favorites icon can appear. The following content types have the favorite icon by default:
