I've been asked if the total view count on a knowledge article is cumulative or per published article. Each version has a view count number and it seems like it only grows larger, which is why the question. Thanks!

These two articles may help answer your question
How to tell how many views an kb article has had
Knowledge View Count and Use Count
It is controlled by a property glide.knowman.view_age.days which defaults to 30 days

Unfortunately, those do not help. I understand how to see the view count, etc. What I'm asking is...if I have an article with 2 versions. V1 says viewed 10 times, V2 says viewed 15 times. Was V2 actually viewed 15 times or was it viewed only 5 times - and the cumulative total times of all versions viewed is 15?
