Reporting on Link Clicks

Has anyone found a solution for reporting on click rates specifically for links on the portal that go to external pages? This includes links within a knowledge article and links in different widgets across the portal. We have been told this is not provided by ServiceNow so I am wondering about custom solutions.

You should be able to configure this to give you what you want.

Unfortunately user experience analytics does not allow us to see who is clicking on external links that we add to knowledge articles and custom widgets. We can see page navigation but not clicks to external sites.
