Subject person case visibility - best practices

Hi good day,

This one is more a question about good practices...

A couple of months ago we made important changes to the taxonomy of our HR services catalog with the aim of make it more simple and fully self-service... As a result of this change, we became aware of the possibility that case managers or managers with employees under their charge or structure, unintentionally create cases that should be hidden from the employee in the "subject person" field. We know how to show or not the case information with the options in the HR service, but some of our cases may be about a certain HR topic, but still very general... We are thinking about a series of modifications in the case creation forms so that managers or HR staff know that the cases that are creating will be shown to the employee, (or not, depending the case), and/or that there are other types of cases to manage confidential information, or also, directly modify, if you want the case to be confidential, use the subject person field, and if not, use "open for". All controlled with UI actions in the corresponding fields to hide or show accordingly...

Has somebody dealt with this type of issues? Is there any reference for good practices about this?

Many thanks!

Rodrigo

Hi,

In such scenarios, how about transferring those cases from service 1 (where subject person visibility is hidden) to service 2 (like General enquiry) that allows subject person to view cases ?

Thanks,

Arav
