Hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to track user activity and clicks related to attachments on knowledge articles. Specifically, my team would like to track how many times an attached PDF or other document on a knowledge article is opened by a person viewing the article, and how many times each attachment has been downloaded if possible.
We're able to get view data for the actual knowledge articles via the Knowledge Use table, but I'm not aware of a way to track which links are clicked within the article without some kind of external analytics tool or potentially via the Transaction Logs table (but this doesn't seem like a scalable solution with the large number of articles that have attachments that we'd like to track).
Has anyone found a good way to track user engagement on article attachments? If so, was customization or an outside tool required? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
