Does anyone else find Service Operations Workspace slow?

Hi All

We have recently moved to Utah switching on the new UI and also moving to the new Chat tool.

Our main Service Desk is outsourced supporting over 45,000 customers around the world and in all of their 5 locations they complain that compared to call module the system is intermittently very slow and hampering their ability to support our customers.

ServiceNow have been supporting us but so far nothing has made a major difference and we are a month in...

I just wondered if anyone has or is experiencing the same before we start engaging network teams etc.

Sally

Hi all - just a caveat I am not providing the solution but advising what HI has now repsonded with - and it still has not resolved the issue

"Please find the below additional comment and update from Dev
We investigated the [client name] instance and observed that the Admin Home is loading in a considerable time and we are directly calling sn_appclient_api_v1 . The initial load might be slow but consecutive load would be faster.

Now for Adoption blue print, we made changes in AppsDataAPI script include to make sure when the APP client call happens the first load is false. We have made the changes.
Could you please check and let us know if that resolves the issue or not. We have also attached the changed xml file to this case ."

They can indeed so they have provided those to the engineers also.

We are experiencing the same performance issue, specifically with phone agents using Service Operations Workspace and the CTI connector. We are on the Utah version.

Over the past week i have actually noticed a significate improvement in SOW. No action has been taken on our part. Anyone else noticed this?

Hi All, we applied patch 6 at the weekend which expressly mentions improving performance on SOW and early indications are positive. It has also solved the cursor randomly moving issue. One location still says slow and we gathering HAR files from them to support their claims.
