Why record is not numbered automatically.

Hi All,

I have created custom table. I want number to be automatically generated when new record is created. I user get next obj but that is not working. Please see attachment and suggest solutions.

What have you set the auto-numbering in the controls settings on the table?

Hello Tarasingh,

 

You don't have to write a script. You can simple select Use dynamic default value and in Dynamic default value pls select Get Next Padded Number like below screenshot.
