Hi,
Is that possible for OOTB AI search to find knowledge article created using Knowledge Template?
There are some OOTB Knowledge Template such as FAQ, How to and they store the data in child table and other field than article body.
Then I am worried that I have to configure AI search configuration so that it can search those articles.
Solved! Go to Solution.

The definition of "Indexed Source" includes templates, so they will be searched.

Yes, they are included.
If you have custom templates you can go to the related list "Field Settings & Mapping" and map the new fields from the child table to the AI Search fields. So for example, if you store the content of your article in a field called "solution", you can map the field solution to the tag "text" in this related list. As a result, AI Search will handle this field accordingly. Same applies for tag "title".
