Pass language as a query parameter in page URLs Tokyo feature is not working in PDI

Hi Team,

I have upgraded the instance to Tokyo release and testing the Service Portal Tokyo feature to translate the page content using language query parameter. Language already installed and activated, but page still returning content in English.

I would appreciate if anyone can help me with this! Thank you

@namitha1,

So there's a few things to unpack here, firstly adding the language parameter to the URL doesn't perform any translations. What it's doing is if you don't have a user-preference yet applied to your user profile, then if the UI translations exist for that language it will present them by setting your user-preference because of that parameter (provid.

This is particularly useful for non-logged in CSM users on the CSM portal, or first logins of any users. if you check my "In Platform Language Support Guide" article and specifically the section called "Force the language via URLs to Service Portals" you'll see what I mean (just remember, the translations have to exist in the first place),

Many thanks,
Kind regards
