Hi,

I am facing an issue where if the event's resolution code is "Closing", the Alert is not getting created but there are few events which have the resolution code as "Closing" but still the Alert is created.

Could someone please help on this.

thanks

Hi

1. if this is a first event who is now created with resolution_state closing then the event will not be attached to any alert
2. if there was already an event (with resolution_state new) who is attached to an alert and now you create an event with resolution_state close
then the new event will be attached to the existing alert and will close it.

Hi Savita,

Are you referring to an email notification which should be sent on the closure? There should be a business rule which triggers an event and event triggers an event.

Kindly mark my answer as Correct and helpful based on the impact.

Hi,

PFB screenshot for the issue i am facing:

As you can see, one event which has "closing" resolution state has an alert created whereas the other doesnt.

Thanks

Thanks for the screenshot, there will be some script on the table most probably the Business Rule which creates an alert. Could you please search for the same.
