Discovery status is "Socket is closed" for Cohesity Integration

Hi,

 

I am integration servicenow with Cohesity.

I can see cohesity resource are getting created in cohesity table (VMs, Protection Jobs,..) and also Event records are . generated for critical alerts. But Discovery status shows "Socket is closed" and Mid server logs show below error.

"java.net.SocketException: Socket is closed".

There are two fields for Discovery status. One shows "Completed" and another onw shows "Socket is closed".

Could you please help to resolve this error?

Hi

socket is bound to a port number so that the TCP layer can identify the application that data is destined to be sent. ... A socket error can occur if one or more of the above conditions are not met or something is blocking communication between the client and server (e.g. firewall, anti-virus).

It has something to do with Communication PORT as mentioned in above POST.
