Discovery status is "Socket is closed" for Cohesity Integration

Hi,

 

I am integration servicenow with Cohesity.

I can see cohesity resource are getting created in cohesity table (VMs, Protection Jobs,..) and also Event records are . generated for critical alerts. But Discovery status shows "Socket is closed" and Mid server logs show below error.

"java.net.SocketException: Socket is closed".

There are two fields for Discovery status. One shows "Completed" and another onw shows "Socket is closed".

Could you please help to resolve this error?

Hi

A socket is bound to a port number so that the TCP layer can identify the application that data is destined to be sent. ... A socket error can occur if one or more of the above conditions are not met or something is blocking communication between the client and server (e.g. firewall, anti-virus).

It has something to do with Communication PORT as mentioned in above POST.
