Hi,
I have been reading a lot about approver licensing ( October,2013 pricing model service now ). It states it will grant a new role called "approver_user" to a user and the user would be liable to approve requests in his queue in addition with self services.
Apparently while exploring Demos (Dublin release) , i am not able to find "approver_user" role nor i am i can find any rule like ACL , BR to restrict view. Being administrator i explored self service module too but cannot find my approvals their.
Has anyone managed to explore it yet. If yes, any guidance would be helpful.
Thanks in advance !!
Regards,
Ayush Saxena

HI Ayush, I see no replies to this message. Did you receive any other information from somewhere?

For us we have a number of users who are approvers for changes, requests and at various levels Most are process users so it is not an issue
however, if a user raises a change or a change is raised on their behalf they have to perform a Post Implementation approval - this means that all our users need to approve.
the standard rules are there so a user can approve any change assigned to them via email or the ESS portal.
We added a new section on our Portal called "My Approvals" where the user can see any outstanding approvals that are assigned to them.
No use of the approval_user role at all

Hi Ayush,
I also tried exploring this, but couldn't find anything. You can maybe create a ticket in Hi and ask them to provide some sort of documentation for this.
Thanks & Regards,
Hari

I think you should speak to your ServiceNow sales representative, that will be the best way
Can't tell you much more on the community.
About license, asking the Sales representatives is always the best option to take, specially about this question and specially now.
