I'm just wondering how Discovery knows which serial number to use when matching and updating a CI? For example, if you have a Windows device and you have different serial numbers on the system, uuid, chassis, bios, and baseboard which one is selected and used?

Hi Tarik,
The baseboard Serial number will be populated by default by the preceding Bios Serial number. There is a mid-server property that you can change if you have any custom requirements.
Property : mid.wim.baseboard.or.bios.insertion.

please use instead mid.win.baseboard.or.bios.insertion
