Unable to discover Aruba ClearPass devices with SNMP credentials

Hi,

I have an issue with discovering Aruba ClearPass devices. We have SNMP credentials in place and test credentials is successful. Port 161 is also open. We are getting the OIDs. But the devices are not getting discovered.

Log: Active, couldn't classify. Please find the below SS for your reference.

Please let me know if I'm missing anything here or do I need to check anything else.

Thank you in advance.

That probably means SNMP OID is not present on your SN instance. You can check your OID on the discovery_snmp_oid table. If not present, then you may have to add it to the list and also load MIB files on SN.

Hi @Pravin4,

There is one more SNMP device (Not aruba clearpass device), The OID of that device is not available in my instance. But The device is still got discovered.

And How does ServiceNow handles OIDs?

Thanks in advance.
