Managed Documents app is available on the ServiceNow platform for many years (launched with Eureka release). This module was built for lightweight approval and revision control framework to control electronic documents (e.g IT or HR Policy documents) within your instance. Since we are not making any feature enhancement to this module, a common question I get is, "when to use or not use the Managed Doc application"?
The purpose of this short post is to provide you a high-level guideline so that you can make an informed decision.
