Assigning task to user without assignment group

Hi Team,

I have a requirement to assign a task to the IT Product Owner based on the Business App chosen in the form.

We have 100s of application and its not possible to create a group for it. Also IT product owner will keep changing and also new ones might come in.

Is it ok to assign task to a user via assigned to field without adding assignment group? Or this is not a best practice and we somehow need to find a way to manage a group for all IT Product Owners.

Hi

basically groups are always helpful for example for role/rights management, approvals or notifications.

But yes, you also can assign a user without group.
