AV Equipment in Asset Management

Hi all,

We have a requirement to track life cycle of all "AV(audio/video) Equipment" in ServiceNow Asset Management. And when i check there are no classes for these type of equipment. Can you let me know how did you implement your tracking your AV equipment life cycle in servicenow asset management.

For example AV Equipment could be TVs, projectors etc., Also these kind of assets have no assigned_to value since these are assigned to room or office not the person. But the Assigned to field is mandatory on asset record when 'In use'. how do we deal with this scenario
