Hello all. I have a catalog item that I'm not sure how to set up. There are two sets of fields to fill out on the form. The basic gist of the flow is:
Step 1 - User 1 fills out 'Set 1' of questions
Step 2 - That set of information goes off for approval to user 2
Step 3 - User 3 gets notified of the approval, which they then need to fill out the 'Set 2' questions
I originally created all of the questions on the form, and hid 'Set 2', assuming that 'User 3' would be able to see them on the RITM that was created upon the form being filled out, but they are hidden there also. I also tried to define a behavior for the fields to show up when the request has been approved, but couldn't figure that out either.
What would be the best way to go about this?

Hi @Lloyd700
You can hide the 'set 2' variables by using catalog ui policy and just select applies to catalog item view(ref attached screenshot)
Now the Set 2 questions will not be hidden on RITM for User 3 to fill
If this helps, please mark this as helpful and correct.
Thanks

Hi @Lloyd700
Do you want your User 3 to fill Set 2 questions on the catalog item or on the generated RITM ?
Thanks & Regards

Hi @Lloyd700
There are two sets of fields to fill out on the form. The basic gist of the flow is:
Step 1 - User 1 fills out 'Set 1' of questions
Atul: Hope you create the variable or Variable set to get the questions.
Step 2 - That set of information goes off for approval to user 2
Atul: Yes, we can show the questions filled by user 1 , in the generated RITM via Flow we can show.
Step 3 - User 3 gets notified of the approval, which they then need to fill out the 'Set 2' questions
Atul: When user 3 will get notified, after user 2 approved? and Where you want user 3 fill the set2 questions. Bcz once a Catalog Item submitted it is not recommended to change or modify any thing.
Atul: This you can achieve via UI policy but please let us know what you configured and where you stuck , so that we can guide you.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
