Hi all,
I don't think it's possible to create the report I'm requested to do but I might be wrong (I hope so) 🙂
My requester wants a report showing all "existing" tickets during each month. I've created a Trend report but since he doesn't want the Trend by to be by "Closed" or "Created", but rather "how many tickets "existed" during each month (both active/inactive tickets)", I don't know what to set in the Trend field. Is this request possible or not?

Hi @Ulrika ,
I think we need some clarification for "existed each month". If it's both incidents created within a current month together with incidents created in previous month both closed in current month, then it could be some performance analytics could do the job. This is off course just from the top of my head, but defiantly need some deeper investigation.
Do you know what the business value your requester would gain by such a number ?

Thank you for your reply. Regarding "existed each month" - yes, they want to know how many tickets (actually both incidents and sctasks) they have existing during each month - they don't want to trend it by closed or openened each month but rather "how many tickets exists" each month (grouped by active/inactive).
Not really sure about the business value - I think that they should get almost the same result by watching the trend of created (or closed) tickets for each month so if above isn't possible to solve with a "normal" report, I think I'll ask them to think about that once more.
