Hi the community,

I have deployed the Dynamic translator feature on the Short description and Description fields:
find_real_file.png

I added a new attribute on the dictionary entry for the Short Description and Description field.

When I try to reproduce the same action on the fields Work notes or Additional comments, I don't see this new Dynamic Translation Enabled attributes.

Could you help me please.
Thanks a lot, Eric.

For your information, I opened an HI ticket.
Here's the answer, you have to upgrade to the Orlando version.

Upon careful analysis of your query, we found that this is the expected behaviour of the release that Dynamic Translation for comments & work notes is a new feature released as part of Orlando release.

You are currently in the NewYork version. I would suggest you upgrade to Orlando to achieve the functionality.

Please find the below Orlando Release notes for the information:

Looks like it doesn't support Journal fields.

Hi Prateek,

For the Short Description and Description all is OK

My problem is to reproduce exactly the same action for the Work notes and Additionnal comments filds.

That is what i'm saying, it is not supported for Journal fields.

Worknotes and Additional Comments fall under journal fields.

OK I'm sorry, but I know it's possible. I've seen a video that shows this functionality from the back office:

And from the portal too:

If you have any ideas on how to help me set this up.
