Dear Experts,
In our organization, we would like to use 'Dynamic Translation' plugin to translate KB articles especially and Agent conversations in the future. So we have followed the documentation and installed the plugins Dynamic Translations, Conversational Dynamic translation and its dependent plugins.
Then, In the translator configuration setup, there are three options in San Diego,
1. IBM
2. Microsoft
3. ServiceNow
Since we do not have connections with IBM and Microsoft translation services, we have chosen 'ServiceNow' and made it as default and active.
The challenge here is below,
1. we do not "Machine Translate" button on the Knowledge articles
2. The 'translate' icon does not appear on the portals and so on.
It does not look like the dynamic translation is enabled even after installing plugins and configuring the translator to 'ServiceNow' as default.
Is there something, are we missing? your guidance would be very helpful.

I'll cover the questions individually,
1. yes that is correct, you require Integration hub in order to use Dynamic Translation, which can be done either by purchasing Intergration Hub or having a Pro SKU of product lines like ITSM Pro, CSM Pro, or HR Enterprise,
2. For DeepL, there are some third-party spokes on the store (as it's not one developed by us), here's one for example,
Many thanks,
kind regards

For Dynamic Translation to work as you intend, I'm afraid you would need a subscription to one of the CloudMT providers (MS Azure, GoogleMT or IBM Watson) via their respective spokes. This is because the platform doesn't have an MT capability natively built in.
I actually explain more about this in my blog post here,
The ServiceNow option you're referring to is actually used for language detection in VA (even though it shows as a choice),
Many thanks,
Kind regards

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your response.
1. Does it mean we should buy the subscription of Integration Hub, if we need to user machine translation? If I understand correctly, Is Integration Hub mandatory to achieve the Dynamic translation or Machine translation?
2. Also, we have a license subscription for "DeepL Translation software", in case if we go head with DeepL, do we not require IBM or Microsoft or Google MT ? or Is one of them is mandatory still?
Please advise.
Thank you,
