Hi all -
Is there a way to do a search for a short list of change requests that don't follow a sequence?
What I am trying to do is take a list of change requests that I have captured from a long report, sorted out the ones I do not need to monitor, and ONLY find the ones that I kept. I'd like to go to the Changes, and then input several change requests in the search field to only return those change requests in the list?
Is there a way to do this?
I hope I am explaining this clearly ...
Scott

Use the "is one of" operator in your filter. It will show you only the specific records you're looking for.

Hi Scott,
Have you considered using tags and then creating a filter and saving it as a filter or favorite based on those tags?

I have not, Chuck. The problem is that my list changes often, and the search criteria will change almost daily.
I'd like to just copy/paste a group of CRs (like the list below) into the Search box. I've tried this, and I get a big list of CRs beginning with the lowest numbered CR in my list, up to the highest number. I still have to download to excel, and then parse the list for only those changes I want to keep. From my list shown below, you can see that the CRs are all over the place, insofar as sequence.
Example list:
CHG0036251
CHG0036288
CHG0030084
CHG0035469
CHG0035858
CHG0032493
CHG0031820
CHG0032356
CHG0032362
CHG0032874
CHG0033159
CHG0033285
CHG0033855
CHG0034231

I think the result is still going to be the same, but much more efficient using tags. You'll get a list of changes, identify the ones you want (based on what ever criteria you are doing now), tag it, and it will become part of your filtered list later.

Here's a quick example... I personalized my column layout to include "Tags" then picked some records at random to tag "Save".
Created a new filter for the Save tag
Now my list is just the ones I want. I can add/remove records from that list simply by managing the tags on them.
Save the filter for later use by using the traditional Save button on the filter tool or just drag the breadcrumb to the left navigation menu to create an instant favorite.
Use the middle "Star" icon to see and click your favorites.
