How can I hide whole catalogs from a user/group?

Hello!

I am currently working on building out a few service catalogs in our enterprise. Theres one catalog in particular that is being built out to be an IT internal catalog only, thus it needs to be hidden from everyone that isn't in IT. I see the option to not make certain categories and catalog items not available for a user/group however i don't see the option under the Catalog itself. Is there a way to do this? I've hid categories from certain users however they are still able to see the catalog name on the service portal. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks and have an awesome day. 🙂

You can do it by navigating to:

Service Catalog > Catalog Definition > User Criteria

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/paris-servicenow-platform/page/product/service-catalog-management...

If you apply the user criteria to all Categories, it should hide the Catalog as well. Are you sure you applied the User Criteria to all categories for that Catalog?

I applied it to all categories under the 'not available for option' and i am still able to see the catalog name itself. Also, if i search for a catalog item that is in the 'hidden catalog' it shows up under the global search and will let me request it.
