Can anyone help me in figuring out how to get the 'count' column on a multi-pivot report to sort numerically? I've pasted the results of the report below.

Hi Mercia,
I would suggest to utilize the OOB Aggregation column in the Multilevel Pivot type report. You can have a look at this document regarding this in details: Multilevel pivot charts
I hope this helps. Please mark correct/helpful based on impact

Thank you Amil. My screen shot did not include the count column but it's there, my mistake, however I'm reviewing the document you sent. If you can offer any suggestions on getting the count column to display in numerical order that would be very helpful. Thank you for your reply!

Even if you can suggest why it cannot be done, that would be helpful too!

I checked the wiki documentation about the pivot on the wiki ( http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=Creating_Pivot_Tables#gsc.tab=0 ) and in the new documentation portal ( Pivot tables ) and neither have the word 'sort' anywhere on the document. I'm not sure why this was left out of the design.
With Explore Analytics, you can create a live, drillable multi-level pivots (with additional features like calculated values and multiple values) that are sortable with a left-click:
