how to prevent the ability of ITIL users to remove an automatically added manager approval for normal changes.

Hi,

I have a requirement like,

when the normal change form we click on the "Request approval" button, first approval triggering to Assignment group manager, Here the ITIL users are able to delete the approval through approval tab "EDIT" button. I have to prevent ITIL users are not able to delete the manager approval.

Here only manually added approvals if ITIL wants an delete, But the manager approval delete ability need to restrict.

Help me how to restrict delete ability

Check Delete ACL in approval table, remove the ITIL role from that. If there is none create one and allow only Admin to do that

I need ability to delete manually added approvals, workflow triggered approvals i don't  want to delete ability for ITIL users.

Hi,

Now how do you identify if the approval is manual or from workflow

You can check if the document_id field is populated or not

Based on that decide if it's workflow approval or manual approval

For workflow approval document_id would be populated
