How to reset 'Remember my decision' when exporting to Excel

Hi folks,

Can anyone please help the confirmation dialog in exporting reports in ServiceNow on the bulk data exporting to Excel.       I have a client who ticked 'Remember my decision' by 'Mail it' so each time it he has to wait for the email.

Is there a way this settings can be reset?

I had the same problem.

Clearing History didn't help.

U need to go to - User Preferences - export_warn - and delete "email" in Value field.

Hi George,

If you tick the checkbox and click Mail It, your decision will be saved as a preference in a User Preferences [sys_user_preference] table:

Name: export_warn

Value: email

User: you

If you manually delete this preference, the system will ask you the same question the next time you try to export a large data set and this will help to fix this issue.

U need to go to - User Preferences - export_warn - and delete "email" in Value field.

Then You need to close your browser and open again.

This worked for me .

Can anyone from ServiceNow jump in and provide a solution which can be adjusted by the end-user.  Seems odd to have an end-user setting which requires an admin to correct and deleting a record seems like a really bad design.

Or am I missing an option for an end-user?  But I can't get to user preferences on the menu and I don't see an option in my profile.
