Impersonate not available in the Service Portal

Hello and Good Afternoon,

 

am playing around the PDI (Washington release) and can seem to figure out why the "impersonate" is not available in the Service Portal (but available on both the default UI and Employee Workspace).

Would very much appreciate any assistance regarding the matter.

I don't think we have a impersonate option in service portal.

It's available only in NativeUI/platform UI.

It it correct to assume that it would mean that once we implement ITSM in our environment, for our users, their entry point would be Employee Central.

The choice for the old Service Portal or the new Employee Center does not depend on implementing ITSM or an other process. So your assumption is incorrect.

 

Reading that you are implementing ITSM, does that also mean that this is a new instance? If so, then do immediately go for Employee Center instead of Service Portal.

Thank you.. yes. .we will be implementing ITSM soon and will be on new instances.. as such.. it would be best to use Employee Center as per your comments/suggestion as well.
