Hi,
I have an order guide with multiple items. I would like to have one of this item to be mandatory.
use case: an order guide for on boarding a new employee.
Every employee must have an account, I have a catalog item with a workflow to create this account and I want this catalog item to be always selected.
I tried to look on the forum but all I could find is how to make field mandatory, not a catalog item.
Any idea?
Thanks,
Raphael.

The Show Include Toggle (Service Portal) checkbox is for the entire Item, there is not a way to make that option per rule base.
You do not make a catalog item itself mandatory, but rather those variables on a catalog item form are made mandatory. If the goal is to make sure that one particular catalog item is always launched, then you will need to change your rule base for that item. If the goal is to also guarantee that the always launched catalog item cannot be skipped, then the Show Include Toggle (Service Portal) checkbox needs to be unchecked, and the always launched catalog item needs a mandatory variable included.

I understand what you are all saying, but I'm getting Raphael here. If he wants to make a catalog item required, he has to set the Show Include toggle to false and then not include any conditions to the rule for that item.
However, that prevents him from then being able to use the toggle to disable other items. Instead, he will have to create variables in the details section and use rules to determine whether or not those items show.
Having the toggle feature available for those other items would definately be more user friendly than having to add more questions in the details section for the same purpose.
Just my two cents.

Hi Raphael, What sort of granular option did you find ? I am trying to achieve exactly the same scenario which you were trying to achieve and not finding any way out.

i am also trying to achieve this same thing - I want one item on the order guide to always be mandatory but allow choices for the other items.
