Priority field on incident form.

In our PDI on Incident form the Priority field is auto populated to 5 - Planning based on impact and urgency field's value while opening the form for first time to create new Incident.

I want choice values of Priority fields should be 1 - Critical, 2 - High, 3 - Moderate, 4 - Low and 5 - Planning should not be auto populated while opening the form for first time to create new Incident.

I have inactivated the choice value 5-planning and priority lookup for choice value 5-planning as well but still it is showing while opening the form to create new incident.

Can anyone please help me out ASAP as it is urgent.

Thanks in advance.

Abhisek Chattaraj.

Nice that it works. Can you close this topic by marking one or more of the answers as correct?

Hi @abhisek  ,
If you want to control it, go to Data Lookup definitions, and spot the one created for incident, and uncheck "Run on Insert" option. Refer to screenshot.
I would also suggest to set default value for Priority, impact and urgency as empty, so the user has to explicitly set the value.
