Hi All,
I am working on a reporting chart colors but it is not reflecting the correct color instead of defining it in the [sys_report_chart_color] and selecting in the reports 'chart color if defined'.
The table on which the reporting is done > [cmdb_ci_database]
In the pic1, the colors are showing up as per the attached screenshot but I am not sure where it is defined becasue when I check in the chart color table I cannot find them(screenshot attached). So, I defined one for that table and dot walked to that field but it is also not reflecting on the report.
Could anyone please help me to find out the root casue of this issue? Thanks

Hi @SN_Learn ,
From testing in my PDI, when you only utilize the Group by and not stack by, then chart color works like a charm. If you then utilize both group by and stack by, chart colors doesn't work, but chart color scheme work instead. The only issue is here, that I haven't located how to assign specific color to specific data but only an entire color scheme.

Hi @SN_Learn ,
Sorry I didn't see this earlier, but it's due to your group by in the report:
As an example I made below in my PDI:

Hi @AndersBGS ,
In the report, it is showing that the stack by is for different 'Software Support Status' as shown in screenshot below:
1. I am wondering where are these colors defined because in the chart color table I cannot find them with the [cmdb_ci_database] table
2. I have defined some different colors by dot walking but it is not working so not sure what is the issue.
I tried to define color for the 'Group by field' also but it made no difference.
