retired configuration items still available

I am in the process of doing a major cleanup of our configuration item list. OOTB there is a reference to cmdb_ ci table for this field. Along with that, there is a dependency set on the field with Business Service.

If an item from the cmdb_ci_app appears in the list. How do i set a filter so that anything with a Status and/or Operational Status of Retired is filtered out. This capability should be out of the box.

I found the issue. On the task table, there is a reference to all the tables that use the cmdb_ci field  under the dictionary overrides. no matter what i put into the reference qualifier, it would not work. thanks.

Hi there,

Could you clarify your question a bit more? Is it about just filtering in a list? Is it about a reference field on for example Incident which should be filtered?

If it's for example, about a reference field, you could do something like below:

find_real_file.png

If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.

Kind regards,
