I have run into an issue once I turned the SAM plugin in on where it varies as to which list software is being shown. This is specific to the computer class, some computers it is showing on Software Installations and on some it is under Software Installed.
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great!

Take a look at this page, it tells you how the table structure changes after enabling SAM and what you need to do.
Discovery with Software Asset Management
- After you activate the Software Asset Management plugin, configure the form for any computer CI that you want to discover to show data from the Software Installation [cmdb_sam_sw_install] table.
also, I would take a look at what's coming out in the Jakarta release for SAM, there have been a number of enhancements as well as the introduction of some new features.
license and data reconciliation etc.

Yes, I did that already, I've done this several time. The problem I'm having this time is some software stayed in the old table. It's not all in the new table after I activated the plugin.

Sorry for the late response, it's been a month. Yes, we are running ServiceNow Discovery. I did have to submit a HI ticket. The software was split between the two tables. It was strange. Deleted the software out of the tables, removed cache from discovery probes and software started coming into the right table.
