Standard Change Proposal Assignment Group

We've just started using the Standard Change Proposals.

When a new Proposal is created via the Standard Change Catalog the Assignment Group value is populated to a group that is not being used in our organisation.

I'm looking to change the group that gets assigned but cannot find the process assigning the group.

I have used the Field Watcher to see what is altering the field and the only details that are provided for that field are "SCRIPT ENGINE - com.glide.policy.AssignmentEngine".

Can anyone provide any details on where this value is being populated from or what this script/object is and where it can be found?

-Thanks

Hi Ryan

Go to System Policy > Rules > Assignment and you should find one listed for the std_change_proposal table. Open this and you should be able change the default Assignment group.

Hope it helps.

Hi Ryan,

If you navigate to the Workflow Editor you should be able to find the Standard Change Proposal workflow.  In this workflow there is an Approval - Group activity where you can insert an assignment group of your choosing.  This group will be notified when an a new Standard Change Template has been proposed.  More than likely the group that is being populated is an out of the box default group that is not tied to your organization.

Hi Chris

I had already modified the Approval Group activity in the Standard Change Proposal workflow as the initial error received was that there were no approvers assigned. Once I changed the group in this activity the approvals were correctly sent, but the Assignment Group on the proposal is still incorrect.

Thanks,
Ryan
