Hi,
We have just loaded the new Standard Change plugin but we are having issues with setting up approvers.
I have added the approval_admin and approver_user role to a number of users but each time we try to create a new standard change template we get the following approval message "No Approver present. Please request System Administrator to configure Approvers".
As System Admin I have added 2 approvers to a STDCGH ticket and the approvers state is set to "Not yet Requested" but each time I try and request approval I get the same message so cannot create the template.
Please can you confirm if I am doing something wrong or if the approver roles are not working correctly.
Thanks
Steve

Hi,
I believe I may have found the issue and it looks like my Change Management group had not been allocated the approval role.
I have changed this and this is looking like it works.
Thanks to all the have been looking at this issue.

I was working standard change templates recently. There is a workflow that is behind it with an approval activity. Have you checked there?

Hi Mike
The STGCHG form state is set to "New" and the workflow doesn't kick in till the state is "In Progress".
When I try and change the state to "In Progress" I get the same message about No Approvers present.
Thanks

Hi,
I had encountered the same issue. Please find below the solution and let me know if it helps-
Standard Change template has a 'Change management group' approval configured OOB so, whenever you request for a approval while proposing a standard change template then this error appears and this is because there is no member in the 'Change Management' group which is already there OOB so, add at least one member to the group and then this will work fine.
An approval for the member which you have added recently for Change management group will be triggered and upon approving that the standard change template will start appearing in the change catalog under 'Pre-approved changes'.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Megha
