what is Order field in the change task form

Hi,
That isn't specific to Change Task table. It is a field from Task table for ordering/sequencing if required.
Since, Change Task is an extension of Task table it inherits all fields that Task table has. If not required you can remove it from Form Layout.

Hi,
It is to control the sequence in which the tasks should be executed. Some business cases might need a sequential execution of change tasks as there might be some dependency or order for the change.
For EG: pre check task to be executed first, then apply update to server, and at the end post check task.

If the is the "out of the box" order field, then it is used to signify the order in which tasks should be completed, typically. First task 100, second task 200, third task 300 etc. That is the typical way it is used.
