What is the best way to change state fields in Problem Management

Hi,

I have a requirement to change the state field labels. By Default, we have labels as Open, Pending Change, Known Error, Closed/Resolved, which I need to modify as per what I have as requirement. When I go to Problem -> Create New -> Right Click on State Field -> Personalize Dictionary -> Choices, I see that these choices are listed and I also notice that they are specific to Problem table only. I also could see that there are different labels for Incident, change, ...

So to modify the labels only for Problem, can I modify the label here? What is the best option to make this change? Please help.

Just modify the choices related to the Problem table. Add any new ones and associate to the Problem table. Each table can have it's own set of choices versus using the default ones on the task table.

Thank you Michael for your reply. I did modify the state labels associated with Problem in task table. One thing I noticed is that state in task field is changed with the labels which I had entered. However, problem_state in problem tableproblem-navigator-menu.pngproblem-state.png is not reflecting the changes. Because of this, Navigator menu under Problem is still showing the old states. Attaching the screen-shot. Do I need to go and manually change the labels for problem_state in Problem table also? There is a BR which is supposed to do this replication, it looks like it is not doing that

If you modify the labels in the task table, you might be affecting the labels in other tables that use those choices. So yes, change the choices associated with the Problem table.
