I am trying to manipulate the Current Status Widget in Service Portal.
Doesn't matter if I change the Business Service From Operational to Non-Operational or if I create an Outage from an Incident, The widget still shows that everything is Up and Running.

The Current Status widget in Service Portal shows Business Services and their related Outages.
In the Business service record [cmdb_ci_service], you can add the related list 'Outage > Configuration Item'.
If you then create an outage, you can set the Type to one of 'Degradation, Outage, Planned Outage, or None'
If you select an outage type which is None, it shows as No issues in the widget, othewise you will see an icon reflective of the outage type you created.

Thank you for this.
I'm on a brand new instance and did not have the Outages listed. It took me a moment to figure out how to get them under related links as I was choosing form layout and totally missed that right under that is Related Lists.
Thanks!
