Hi
You can achieve this by following the info mentioned in ServiceNow doc itself:
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-mobile/page/administer/tablet-mobile-ui/concept/sg-roles-permissions.html
If you do not add a role to any of these components, any user who has access to the mobile app can see that component.
Hope this helps. Please mark the answer as correct/helpful based on impact.

So i need to hide whole tab if I want to hide just want section and show another tab with this section shown dependent on a role. I think its over complicated. Why there is no role selection on section level?

The above screen is a representation of how to hide a section in a launcher, it won't hide the whole launcher for you but the section.
1. Click on "active major incidents"
2. Now open the launcher screen record
3. Here you will find option called "required roles" where you can restrict to roles
