Hi All,
I'm currently facing an issue where a user is unable to publish a policy to a Knowledge Base. When attempting to publish, the following errors are displayed:
"Could not create knowledge article"
"You do not have access to contribute to this knowledge base"
This is puzzling because the user already has both the "knowledge" and "knowledge_manager" roles assigned.
Has anyone encountered this before?
Could this be related to specific Knowledge Base permissions (Can Contribute/Can Read ACLs) or role overrides at the Knowledge Base level?
Any insights, checks, or troubleshooting tips are most welcome.
Looking forward to your suggestions — thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @ujjwala_678
The error message indicates that the user doesn't have permission to create an article in the specified Knowledge Base. To resolve this, navigate to the Knowledge Base and review the 'Can contribute' criteria.
Regards,
Siva
