Does Now Assist agent use Knowledge Base articles as a source of knowledge?

It seems like Now Assist cannot reference Knowledge Base articles in the agent. Does the agent learn from the knowledge base articles?

ServiceNow NOW ASSIST Agents/Components uses ServiceNow KBs as a Source. We can have External Sources in AI Search too (SharePoint, Confluence using OOTB Connectors).

 

Now Assist Uses RAG concept for Response Generation.

 

Also in AI Agent Use Cases it refers ServiceNow Instance KBs unless Some external Source is Also Configured.
