Now Assist for custom app?

Hello!

 

I know this area is rapidly developing (understatement) but I am wondering whether there is/will be a capability to add Now Assist to custom roles/record types for the agents who work with them? 

 

Just curious!

For agents using ServiceNow, access to Now Assist functionality is granted through the assignment of roles, e.g. the now.assist.user role.

 

So if there is Now Assist functionality that's applicable to a particular custom record type, for example, the agent will have access to that functionality if they have the appropriate role.

If i understood Correctly - You Are Looking for NOW ASSIST Features (Summarize, Sentiment Analysis , Resolution notes etc etc) in any of your CUSTOM APPLICATIONS.

Also i can think of BYOLLM (https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/xanadu-intelligent-experiences/page/administer/generative-ai-cont...) or NASK kit (https://www.servicenow.com/community/now-assist-articles/now-assist-skill-kit-nask-faq/ta-p/3007953) can support some skills development for your Custom Apps.
