Removing Unwanted Stages on Filter Conditions For Requested Item (RITM) Report

Hello  Team,
 
We have configured Requested Item (RITM) report, in the platform-analytics workspace. The filter condition for stage field currently shows almost 40 choices , but the customer does not want to see all these stages in the filter conditions. Has anyone already removed stages in filter conditions on reports ? Any help would be appreciated.

the only way is to inactivate those choices which will impact entire platform.

you cannot specifically tell system to show only 5 choices in report filter condition in platform analytics and show all in the backend filtering on table list.
