burndown chart on dashboard

I am having a problem using the sprint burndown chart on a dashboard. I added this chart under SDLC.

However I am not able to select a team. I only have two sprints that appear and that is because these sprints existed without a team so they show up. Below is what it looks like when i click on the drop down no teams are listed.

Any thoughts as to what might be going on here? I have tried different browser, had someone else try. I also assigned groups to the two sprints so all of them had one and nothing.

I think you are falling foul of a bad (or at least VERY confusing) piece of design which SN have allowed through into SDLC - they have introduced the concept of a TEAM held in a separate table SCRUM_PP_TEAM and having separate behaviour from GROUP despite mimicking a lot of its properties. Basically your SPRINTS are worked on by these TEAMS which may or may not correspond to groups - team members can cut across your group structure and be "fluid" by changing per release. Take a look at the list of "open sprints" and check which teams are shown - THESE should be available in your burndown chart.

We have a team that is called "ServiceNow Development Team" and it has all the members of my group as well as me in it. This group is tied to the Sprint that is currently active.

Ryan - I am struggling to explain this. BUT - I am running Istanbul and when I add the SDLC --> Sprint Burndown Chart to my homepage it is showing "SELECT GROUP" as the left box (not TEAM as in your example) - on my test system a series of groups appear - not all, and I cannot (yet) explain which ones have been selected!

I went to my personal dev instance which is instanbul to take a look. I see what your talking about.

I do see the label is Group in istanbul and team in Helsinki. I loaded the demo data for Agile Development, and the system loaded in several sprints all by the team Facilities Software Team. But when I goto the dashboard I don't see the team as a group I can select? So a team is different than a group, I get that I just haven't figured out ServiceNow's intentions here?

2. What is going on with instanbul Group or Team which is it?
