We have been on ServiceNow for just over 1 year. I've recently discovered Admin Console / Trouble Shoot / Diagnostic Errors.
I am attempting to chase down "Dashboard tab does not have a valid reference in the Page field." errors but I can't seem to figure out which dashboard these tabs are on. There doesn't seem to be any reference to the dashboard in the row or problem record.
How do I identify the dashboard with the issue?

The KB listed above just takes me to the product documentation which is not helpful for this error.

This error indicates that you have an orphaned tab that is not associated with any dashboard and therefore is not accessible to users. So that is why there is no reference to the dashboard; there isn't one. There is a link to the tab in the Problem Record field.

Hello,
When I click on the "Problem Record" link, I can see that the "Page" field is blank. How can I determine which page to associate the tab with? I tried creating a dashboard for orphaned pages and then associated some of the problem record items with blank tabs on that dashboard. Should I be able to see the contents of the orphaned tab by doing that? I've tried this with a few of the "orphans" but they all look like blank dashboard pages. Not sure if that's because my approach is wrong or if the tabs really are blank.
Also, do we know what commonly leads to orphaned tabs? Could it have been a result of our migrating homepages to dashboards when we upgraded to Utah a while back?
Thanks,
Mireille
