Can anyone tell me if you have created a customized calendar in servicenow. There is a business impact calendar that we utilize to show acceptable times/dates to perform maintenance in each of our respective service areas. We now keep that calendar report in Excel. I would like to create a calendar or import this calendar into servicenow so that this information is internal within the tool.
Please share your thought, comments. etc.
Thanks

If you want to use the Explore Analytics tool shown above, you can set it up by:
1) Signing up for an evaluation account here.
2) Following the set-up process to integrate it with ServiceNow here. (it's just an update set and a service account).
3) To create the calendar, navigate to File > Create a new view, and then select the ServiceNow data source and the table that has the shift information. Select "Chart."
4) In the left hand menu ("Calendar Chart Fields"), set the Start time field to the date-time field that represents the start of the shift, and set the End time/duration field to the date-time field that represents the end of the shift.
5) You can filter using the Filter Data button above the chart; use the Title/Subtitle fields on the left menu to determine what shows up in the calendar.

Here I am not able to select the data source as servicenow.
It is showing only "demo".

Hi Anji,
It looks like you were able to connect to the data source -- I'll touch base with you via email to see if you have any other questions.
